Parking in Alameda

In addition to parking meters along local streets, three surface lots and the Civic Center Parking Structure offer parking by the hour or by permit.

Civic Center Parking Structure
Located at 1416 Oak Street between Central Avenue and Santa Clara Avenue, this six level parking facility features 341 pay-by-space prepaid parking spaces, monthly permits, electric car parking and free charging, and bike parking.

Public Off-Street Parking Lots
The City operates three surface parking lots, two in the Park Street area, one in the Webster Street area.
Fee parking via meters is available from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Saturday.
Each of the lots also affords a limited number of spaces for monthly permit holders.

• Lot A is accessible from Park Avenue between Central Avenue and Santa Clara Avenue
• Lot B is accessible from both Central Avenue and Alameda Avenue between Oak and Park Streets
• The West End lot is accessible off of Webster Street, between Haight Avenue and Santa Clara Avenue.
