The City of Alameda ePermit Portal provides 24-hour access to information in our on-line permit database. Users are able to research Building, Planning, Fire and Public Works permit records including permit processing status, inspection results, fees, plan check correction lists and approval letters.
Licensed contractors with a current Alameda Business License can become registered users authorized to pull simple over-the-counter permits. Permit History reports are also available through an online tool. Click on graphic below to access online Permit History database.
All other permits are processed at the Permit Center at City Hall located in Room 190 within the Community Development Department. For more information, call (510) 747-6800.
