Alameda Municipal Power

Alameda Municipal Power, a department of the City of Alameda, is a municipal utility with an unparalleled history of service in the Bay Area. Providing reliable electric service for more than 120 years, the utility's electric generating resource mix is among the cleanest in the nation, providing the City of Alameda the distinction of being the lowest greenhouse gas emitting community in Alameda County and one of the lowest in the State.

In July 2010, Fitch Ratings assigned an A+ rating and Stable Outlook to AMP's Series 2010A and 2010B bonds.

Approximately 90 employees make sure that the highest quality of service is provided to approximately 34,000 electric customers throughout the 12.8 square mile service territory.
