
Most clerical positions require verification of the applicant’s typing ability. A valid typing certificate must be submitted with each application and indicate the applicant’s ability to type the minimum speed.
A valid typing certificate MUST be issued by an educational institution, public agency, or professional service which routinely provides typing verification documentation in their normal course of business and INCLUDE:
Self-administered, online typing certificates are not accepted and will not be considered valid. The Human Resources Department will not search the files to locate previously submitted typing certificates.
