The Alameda Police Department has always prided itself as being a service-oriented police department. It is our commitment to you to provide quality service with respect, care and equal treatment for all in the community.  We strive to give the best possible service to our community.  We welcome and seek an active partnership with the community in carrying out our responsibilities.

These web pages are designed to enable residents and visitors to find the information they need about the Alameda Police Department. We have enhanced our site to allow citizens to obtain Traffic Collision Reports online, Crime Mapping, which gives the public accurate and timely data in the form of maps and reports, and CodeRED, an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications that allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the City.
